Eli: There's a boy outside dad. He's thirteen years old. He-he's thirteen old.
Dad: How do you know he's thirteen?
Eli: Because he's thirteen.
Dad: But how do you know?
Eli: Because he's thirteen.
Dad: But HOW do you KNOW?
Eli: Oh, I just made it up.

Later...

Eli: Dad I want to eat that grape.
Dad: ...Um, you mean the one I just ate? It's too late, you have to tell me before I eat it. Here, have this other one.
Eli: BUT I WANT THAT ONE!!! (starts rubbing his eyes furiously)
Mom: Eli, why are you rubbing your eyes?
Eli: BECAUSE THERE'S WATER POURING OUT OF THEM!!!
