We were in Coeur d'Alene for a temple sealing of some friends of ours that adopted a baby, and that evening (despite some CRAZY snow coming down) we had a get together at a house in Rathdrum. The first example happened while we waited for the rest of the guests to arrive (which took a while with all the snow). The kids were all inside watching a movie while the adults chatted and got things ready. All the kids, that is, except Eli. Here is what Eli was doing:
The second happened when the party was in full swing. Everyone was enjoying Kami's barbecue pulled pork sliders, as well as a chocolate fountain with a variety of things to dip in it. Now, what was Eli eating? Was he stuffing himself will all manner of chocolate drizzled goodness? Nope, he was excited that he found an apple, and was enjoying it very much (no picture of the apple, sorry). Later on he snuck a pear from the fruit bowl "for the road," as he would say. Clearly a sign that he will be a health conscious adult, who only fuels his body with wholesome, nutritious foods.
Now does this really mean that he will be a hard working and health conscious adult? I don't know if you can take it that far, but as a parent it's nice to hope right?

Those are great qualities to have...
I wonder what goes through his mind?!
I am pretty sure Eli will grow up to be both a hard worker and a nutritious eater...My kids on the other hand... Oh no.
